  • WhatsApp templates and tracked broadcasts
  • Chats become CRM leads in one step

What is Messaging in Flowyana?

Flowyana Messaging is a unified inbox for WhatsApp Business, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, email and website live chat. It is for businesses whose customers write on several channels and whose team needs to answer them together, without missing messages or answering twice. A conversation that turns into business becomes a lead in Flowyana’s CRM in one step.

Messaging is a customer inbox, not a staff chat. Your team talks to each other through comments, @mentions and notes on the records they share, and talks to customers here.

The inbox is the front door of the platform. The visitor chatting on your website, the buyer on WhatsApp and the follower on Instagram can each become a lead, then a client with quotations and invoices, without anyone retyping a name or a number. The full story of how that works, channel by channel, is on the Omnichannel inbox page.

What it does

Messaging, in practice.

One shared inbox

WhatsApp Business, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, Telegram, your business email and website live chat arrive in one conversation list the whole team works from.

Chat on your own site

Embed the live-chat widget on your website; visitor conversations arrive in the inbox instantly, with the page they’re on and how they found you.

Work it as a team

Assign conversations to a teammate, snooze, tag and mute them, and move them through open, pending, resolved and closed.

From chat to lead

Turn a conversation into a CRM lead in one step, linked to the client or contact you already have. Broadcast replies become leads on their own.

Templates and broadcasts

WhatsApp templates written in Flowyana and approved by Meta, and broadcasts to a contact list tracked per recipient.

Quick replies

Saved answers your team drops into any conversation, so common questions get the same correct answer every time.

Email sorted for you

Newsletters and bounces are filed on their own, and your rules sort the rest into lead enquiries, support and spam.

On your dashboard

Messaging tiles sit on the dashboard beside sales and stock, so the owner sees how busy the inbox is without opening it.

How you get it

Messaging comes with CRM, Support and Bookings plans from Growth and with Rentals Business, and other plans can add the Messaging inbox. Website live chat works on its own; WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Telegram and email also need Integrations, which those plans include. Support Starter has website chat only.

How it works

Messaging, step by step.

  1. 1

    Connect

Add the live-chat widget to your website, then link your WhatsApp number, Facebook Page, Instagram account, Telegram bot and mailbox.

  2. 2

    Prepare

Save quick replies, write WhatsApp templates and submit them to Meta, and set live-chat business hours and an offline message.

  3. 3

    Answer

Conversations arrive in one list. Assign each one to a teammate, tag or snooze it, and resolve it when it’s done.

  4. 4

    Convert

Turn real enquiries into CRM leads in one step, and let broadcast replies create leads by themselves.

In depth

A closer look.

WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger in one unified inbox

Each channel connects to your own account: your WhatsApp Business number on Meta’s official platform, your Facebook Page, your Instagram business account, a Telegram bot and your business mailbox. Customers keep writing where they always have, and every message appears in one list with the channel marked. Filter by channel or status when you want one view, or work everything together.

  • Your own numbers, pages and mailbox, not shared ones
  • Email replies stay in the same thread
  • New conversations started from the inbox
  • Approved templates for the first WhatsApp message to a customer

Website live chat, set up your way

The live-chat widget is Flowyana’s own, so it needs no other service. Choose its colour, position, title and theme, write a greeting, and ask for a name, email or phone before the chat starts if you want to. Set business hours in your time zone; outside them, the widget collects an offline message. When the chat ends, visitors can rate it from 1 to 5 and leave a comment.

  • Visitor’s current page, page history, location, device and campaign
  • File upload with limits you choose
  • Runs only on the website addresses you allow

Templates, broadcasts and quick replies

Write WhatsApp templates in Flowyana with a header, body and category, submit them to Meta and follow their approval. Broadcast an approved template to a contact list, built by hand or from a spreadsheet, now or on a schedule, and watch each recipient’s status. Quick replies cover the answers your team types every day, so the reply is fast and consistent.

  • Template approval status from Meta
  • Per-recipient status: sent, delivered, read, replied, failed
  • Broadcast replies become CRM leads within 30 days

Inbox and CRM on one platform

Create a lead from any conversation and choose its pipeline and stage on the spot. Flowyana checks for an existing client or contact first, so you don’t end up with three records for one customer. Because CRM, sales, stock and accounting are the same platform, that lead can become a quotation, an invoice and a payment without leaving Flowyana. Nobody copies a phone number from one app into another, and the customer’s history stays in one place.

  • Lead source set from the channel
  • Linked leads shown on the conversation
  • Automations can send WhatsApp or email when records change

Email sorted by your rules

A shared mailbox fills up with newsletters, delivery failures and spam long before the real enquiries. Built-in checks file newsletters, bounces and auto-replies on their own, and the rules you write sort the rest into lead enquiry, support, spam or other. Filter the inbox by category and the team starts with the messages that matter.

  • Newsletters and bounces filed automatically
  • Your own sorting rules
  • Categories you can filter by

What Messaging does not do (as of October 2026)

We would rather you knew before you buy. There is no SMS channel, no internal team chat, no automatic assignment of conversations and no SLA timers. Chats become leads in one step; support tickets and tasks are created on the client’s record rather than straight from the chat. Customer orders and invoices live on the client record rather than inside the conversation. Everything else described here works today.

Who it’s for

Questions

Asked about messaging.

Which channels does Flowyana Messaging support?

As of October 2026: WhatsApp Business, Facebook Messenger, Instagram direct messages, Telegram, email from your own mailbox, and website live chat through Flowyana’s widget. SMS is not offered.

Is there internal team chat?

No. Messaging is for conversations with customers. Your team works together through comments with @mentions, notes and files on the records themselves, such as a lead, an invoice or a ticket.

How does website chat reach us?

You embed Flowyana’s widget on your site. Visitor conversations land in the shared inbox, where the team replies, and outside business hours visitors leave a message with their email.

Can a chat become a lead or a support ticket?

A chat becomes a CRM lead in one step, linked to an existing client or contact. There is no one-step chat-to-ticket or chat-to-task today; your team creates the ticket or task on the client’s record.

Does it show the customer’s orders next to the chat?

The conversation shows the leads and contact it is linked to, and live-chat visitors come with their page, location, device and campaign. Orders and invoices live on the client’s record, not inside the chat.

Can several people answer one WhatsApp number?

Yes. The whole team answers one WhatsApp Business number from the shared inbox, each under their own login. Conversations are assigned by hand; there is no automatic assignment of conversations.

Can I send WhatsApp broadcasts?

Yes. Choose a Meta-approved template and a contact list, send now or schedule it, and see each recipient as sent, delivered, read, replied or failed. Replies within 30 days become CRM leads.

Does messaging cost extra?

It depends on your plan. The inbox comes with CRM, Support and Bookings plans from Growth and with Rentals Business, and other plans can add the Messaging inbox. Channels other than website chat also need Integrations in your plan.
