Serial number tracking for phones and electronics

Switch on serial tracking for the products you sell one by one, such as handsets by IMEI, laptops or appliances. Serials can be scanned or typed one at a time, pasted as a list, imported, generated as a range or picked from stock, on the web and at the retail till. The system refuses a serial that is already registered, not in stock, held at another location, or not sold on the bill being returned. Stock already on your shelves can be registered when you start.

Warranty from the sale or from activation

Set the warranty on the product in days, months or years, and choose whether it starts at the sale or when the customer activates the product. Each unit shows its status and days left. You can adjust the dates, void a warranty with a reason or restore it, and record the supplier’s warranty end date. The warranty check finds units by serial number, bill number or the customer’s phone. Flowyana tracks warranty status; it does not run warranty claims as a separate process.

The retail till scans barcodes, picks the serial for tracked units, prints the serial and warranty on the receipt, and keeps several bills open while a customer decides. Offers such as a phone plus a case at a set price apply on their own on the installed till, which keeps selling when the internet drops. Does the electronics store POS work offline?

Yes, on the installed Flowyana app. It keeps scanning, picking serials and printing receipts without internet, and catches up when the connection returns. Starter allows one offline device per branch and the Retail plan three, and an extra till adds one more.

Can I track IMEI or serial numbers on every phone I sell?

Yes. Switch on serial tracking for the product and every unit is recorded by its own number from receipt to sale. A handset’s IMEI can be used as its serial number.

Which plan includes serial numbers and warranty?

Serial numbers and warranty tracking are on the Retail plan, along with batch tracking, branch transfers and accounting. Starter covers barcode billing, stock and purchasing.

How do I check a customer’s warranty?

Open the warranty check and search by serial number, bill number or the customer’s phone. It shows each matching unit with its warranty status and days left.

Does Flowyana handle warranty claims with the brand?

No. It records serial numbers, warranty dates and status, and supplier warranty end dates, but it does not manage claims with manufacturers or service centres.

Can we run phone repairs in the same system?

Yes. Add Service Jobs to your plan and repairs run as work orders with the device, serial number, reported issue, a technician, parts from your stock and an invoice. A repair-only business can start on the Repair product instead.

Can customers check their warranty or repair status online?

No. There is no customer-facing page. Your team uses the warranty check and work orders inside Flowyana and shares updates by message or phone.

Can we sell on instalments or through finance companies?

Flowyana does not run instalment plans or connect to consumer-finance providers. You can record payments in several methods and keep a customer’s balance on account.

Do bundle offers work at the till?

Yes, on the Retail plan. Combos, buy X get Y and spend offers apply automatically on the installed till, even offline. The browser till takes manual discounts but does not apply offers.

Does it work for electronics shops in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and India?

Yes. Bills carry GST or VAT at your rate, the till runs in Arabic or English, and amounts follow your currency. As of October 2026, Flowyana does not send e-invoices to a tax authority.

Can I move a phone between branches by serial number?

Yes, on the Retail plan. Transfers move each unit by its serial, and the receiving branch must take it in before it can be sold there.
