BUSY is accounting and GST billing software for small and medium businesses in India, with e-invoicing, e-way bills, and inventory, sold as a desktop product and as a subscription. Flowyana is a browser-based platform where the books are one module among many, written by the sale, the stock, the till, and the staff.
In short
Choose BUSY if you want a long-established Indian desktop accounting package with GST e-invoicing and e-way bills built in, and a perpetual licence is attractive. Choose Flowyana if you want the counter, branches, payroll, CRM, and the books in one browser-based system on a published plan, and you will handle e-invoicing another way.

Where Flowyana differs
What changes if you choose Flowyana.
Books written by operations
In Flowyana a POS sale, an invoice, a purchase receipt, or a payroll run posts its own voucher, so the trial balance and GST summaries are current every day.
One login, anywhere
A browser and a role are all a manager, an accountant, or a cashier needs. No desktop installation on each machine.
Staff and customers in the same system
Payroll, CRM, the omnichannel inbox, and the support desk share one customer record with the ledger.
Branches with their own scope
Each branch keeps its own documents, cash sessions, stock, and staff, who see only their branch, while the owner reads one set of books.
Being fair
When BUSY is the better choice.
- You need GST e-invoices (IRN) and e-way bills from your accounting software today. BUSY states both; Flowyana generates neither.
- You prefer a perpetual desktop licence that keeps working after the renewal period.
- You work from a single PC and your accountant already uses BUSY, with no browser-based access needed.
- You want a mobile app focused on quotations, orders, invoices, and stock checks for a small team.
If that sounds like you, we would rather say so now than after a demo. If it does not, book one and judge for yourself.
Questions
Asked when comparing with BUSY.
Is Flowyana a good BUSY alternative?
Yes, for a business that wants billing, stock, the till, staff, and the books in one browser-based system. If you need e-invoices or e-way bills from the same software, BUSY is the closer fit today.
What is the difference between Flowyana and BUSY?
BUSY is accounting and GST billing software, sold as a desktop product or subscription. Flowyana is a platform where accounting is a module beside POS, inventory, CRM, HR and payroll, rentals, and bookings, sold per product line and used from a browser.
Does Flowyana generate GST e-invoices or e-way bills like BUSY?
No. We do not claim Invoice Registration Portal or e-way bill integration. As of October 2026, e-invoicing applies above ₹5 crore turnover; if that is you, check your obligations with your CA. Your invoices are already GST-split, HSN-coded records.
Does payroll handle PF, ESI, and TDS filings?
No. Payroll builds payslips from salary structures, attendance, and leave, and posts the cost to your books, but it does not produce PF, ESI, or TDS returns.
Does Flowyana work in India and the Gulf?
Yes. GST and VAT are settings, so an Indian workspace splits CGST, SGST, and IGST while a Gulf workspace runs VAT with Arabic–English documents. BUSY presents itself as software for businesses in India.
Does Flowyana need internet?
The web platform does. The POS is offline-first and keeps selling and printing without a connection, then syncs.
Can we move from BUSY to Flowyana?
Yes. Onboarding loads your products, clients, suppliers, and price lists, and we set up your chart of accounts and GST rates with you. Talk to us about opening balances and history for your case.
Is Flowyana accounting full double-entry?
Yes: vouchers, ledgers, account groups, financial year, bank reconciliation, and the standard statements read live, mostly written by operations rather than typed.
