Flowyana vs GoFrugal: a retail and restaurant ERP, or a platform where every sale writes the books?

GoFrugal sells retail, restaurant, and distribution ERP with billing, inventory, purchasing, accounting, CRM, and loyalty, plus mobile apps and online ordering. Flowyana covers the same shop-floor ground with an offline-first till, and adds payroll, bookings, rentals, and support on the same records.

In short

Choose GoFrugal if you want a retail or restaurant ERP with Swiggy and Zomato integration, loyalty campaigns, and mobile apps for stock-taking and field sales. Choose Flowyana if you want the till, stock, staff, and double-entry books in one browser-based platform on published plans, and you do not need delivery-app integration.

Where Flowyana differs

What changes if you choose Flowyana.

The books are part of the product

Every sale, purchase, payroll run, and recipe consumption writes its own double-entry voucher, so there is no export to a separate accounting package.

Branches with their own GSTIN

Each branch keeps its own GSTIN, documents, cash sessions, and staff, who see only their branch, while the owner reads per-branch and combined reports.

Staff and customers in the same system

Payroll, CRM, the omnichannel inbox, and the support desk share one customer record with the ledger.

Retail and restaurant on one catalogue

A group with a shop and a café runs both tills over one product catalogue, one ledger, and one set of branches.

Arabic and English documents

Invoices and receipts can be bilingual, and GST or VAT is a setting, so the same platform serves India and the Gulf.

Being fair

When GoFrugal is the better choice.

  • You take orders from Swiggy or Zomato and want them inside the POS. GoFrugal lists the integration; Flowyana offers none.
  • You want loyalty points and SMS or WhatsApp campaigns from your POS vendor.
  • Your team needs mobile apps for stock-taking, goods receipt, or field sales orders.
  • You want an on-premises or hybrid deployment alongside the cloud.

If that sounds like you, we would rather say so now than after a demo. If it does not, book one and judge for yourself.

Questions

Asked when comparing with GoFrugal.

Is Flowyana a good GoFrugal alternative?

Yes, for a retailer or restaurant that wants the till, stock, staff, and double-entry books in one system on published plans. If delivery-app orders or loyalty campaigns are central to your sales, GoFrugal lists both and is the closer fit today.

What is the difference between Flowyana and GoFrugal?

GoFrugal sells retail, restaurant, and distribution ERP. Flowyana is a platform where retail and restaurant are product lines beside accounting, HR and payroll, CRM, rentals, bookings, and support, each on a published plan.

Does Flowyana integrate with Swiggy and Zomato?

No. Flowyana has no food-aggregator integration today. If delivery apps are a large share of your sales, tell us before the demo and we will be straight about the fit.

Does Flowyana generate GST e-invoices or e-way bills?

No. We do not claim Invoice Registration Portal or e-way bill integration. As of October 2026, e-invoicing applies above ₹5 crore turnover; if that is you, check your obligations with your CA. Your invoices are GST-split, HSN-coded records with GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B summaries.

Does Flowyana work offline at the counter?

Yes. The POS is offline-first and keeps selling and printing without a connection, then syncs. The back office needs a connection.

Does Flowyana have a phone POS app?

No. The POS app runs on Windows and macOS tills. The rest of the platform works in a browser on a computer, tablet, or phone.

Does Flowyana work in India and the Gulf?

Yes. GST and VAT are settings, so an Indian workspace splits CGST, SGST, and IGST while a Gulf workspace runs VAT with Arabic–English documents.

Can we move from GoFrugal to Flowyana?

Yes. Onboarding loads your products, clients, suppliers, and price lists, and we set up your chart of accounts and GST rates with you. Talk to us about opening balances for your case.
