Flowyana vs Petpooja: a restaurant specialist, or the restaurant inside a whole-business platform?

Petpooja is best known for Poss, its restaurant POS, sold as a base plan with operations and marketing suites on top and a long list of delivery, payment, and loyalty integrations. Flowyana runs restaurants too, but the till sits beside accounting, purchasing, HR, and every other line of business the same company runs.

In short

Choose Petpooja if you want a restaurant-specialist POS with aggregator orders on one screen, loyalty and marketing tools, and the Captain App and kitchen display it lists. Choose Flowyana if you want the restaurant POS inside the same platform as double-entry accounting, HR, purchasing, and any other line of business, on published plans.

Where Flowyana differs

What changes if you choose Flowyana.

One platform, not one industry

The same workspace runs the restaurant, the retail shop, the rental fleet, and the service desk — one customer record, one ledger, one login.

The books are part of the product

Every sale, purchase, payroll run, and recipe consumption writes its own double-entry voucher, so there is no export to a separate accounting package.

Branches with their own GSTIN

Each branch keeps its own GSTIN, documents, cash sessions, and staff, who see only their branch, while the owner reads per-branch and combined reports.

Buy what you run

A single café buys POS and accounting; a group adds purchasing, HR, and projects later over the same records.

Being fair

When Petpooja is the better choice.

  • You take orders from Swiggy, Zomato, or other delivery apps and want them on the POS screen. Petpooja lists these integrations; Flowyana offers no aggregator integration.
  • You want loyalty, a customer wallet, feedback, and WhatsApp marketing from your POS vendor. Petpooja sells these in its Marketing Manager suite; Flowyana offers none of them.
  • You need GST e-invoices from the POS. Petpooja includes e-invoice credits in a higher tier; Flowyana does not generate IRNs or e-way bills.
  • You want card and UPI terminals connected to the till through a payments partner. Flowyana takes QR and pay-link payments through Razorpay but does not connect card terminals.
  • Restaurants are the whole business, and you would rather buy from a vendor that specialises in them.

If that sounds like you, we would rather say so now than after a demo. If it does not, book one and judge for yourself.

Questions

Asked when comparing with Petpooja.

Is Flowyana a Petpooja alternative for restaurants in India?

Yes, for restaurants that want the POS, stock, staff, and books in one system. The restaurant POS is offline-first, with floors and tables, structured modifiers, KOT routing by station, cash sessions, and recipe consumption, and every bill posts to the books with its GST components split. It does not take Swiggy or Zomato orders, run loyalty, or connect card terminals.

Does Flowyana integrate with Swiggy and Zomato?

No. Flowyana has no food-aggregator integration today. If delivery-app orders are a large share of your sales, tell us before the demo and we will be straight about the fit.

Does Flowyana generate GST e-invoices or e-way bills?

No. We do not claim Invoice Registration Portal or e-way bill integration. As of October 2026, e-invoicing applies above ₹5 crore turnover; if that is you, check your obligations with your CA.

We run restaurants and a retail shop. Does that change the answer?

That is the case Flowyana is built for. Retail and restaurant tills run on the same platform over one product catalogue, one ledger, and one set of branches, each on a published plan.
